What are your prices?
Our shop minimum is $80 for black and grey and $100 for color. Areal & Kota charge by the piece or in sessions for every project. Shawnee charges hourly or in session rates for anything larger than 3x3 (ish). -The hourly rate is $100/hour
What is your deposit policy?
- Deposits must be paid within 5 days of scheduling an appointment - Deposits come off the final price of the tattoo - DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE Forfeiture of Deposit: - No call/No show - Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation or reschedule - Rescheduling more than 2 times - Switching artist after deposit has been made
What should I do to prepare for my tattoo?
We recommend: - Get a good night's sleep the night before - Drink plenty of water the week before - Eat a full meal the day of your appointment - Avoid alcohol the day before and the day of your appointment - Avoid painkillers before your appointment starts - Dress comfortably in dark colors to avoid ink stains - Wear something (or bring something) that allows access to the body part being tattooed! For example: shorts for leg tattoos or a zip-up/button-up shirt that you can wear backwards for a back tattoo - Set aside enough time that you don't feel rushed. I don't schedule any tattoo for under an hour (usually a minimum of 2) so that the artist always has plenty of time. For large pieces, plan to be here for the whole day! You may not be, but it's better to plan for too much time than too little.
Can I use numbing cream?
Of course! All of our artists are comfortable working with numbing cream, however we do not provide it. If you'd like to use it, make sure you follow the instructions and apply it before your appointment.
How do I book an appointment?
Visit our Tattoo Inquiries page and fill out the form! I will respond and let you know if any of our artists would be right for your project. We do not take all projects. Sometimes, the artists don't feel they are the right person for a project. We want you to have the best possible tattoo, even if it's not with us.
When do I get to see my tattoo design?
We are a fully custom shop, so each tattoo is created specifically for the client. Because of this, we do not send any designs ahead of time. We do allow for time during the appointment to make small adjustments to the design. If you would like to make a large change to your design idea, please let us know at least 48 hours ahead of the tattoo appointment. Large scale design changes without notice can result in needing to reschedule the appointment.
Do you tattoo minors?
Yes! We will tattoo someone over 16 as long as they have consent from their guardian. The legal guardian will need to sign the paperwork and provide a valid ID. **If it is your first tattoo, we will not do hands, face, ribs, or neck**
Do you offer gift cards?
We do not offer gift cards at this time. While we love the idea of giving tattoos as gifts, we have had several issues with gift cards in the past and we're working out the best way to offer them.
